my journey

I have not always gone by the title of Shamanic Practitioner or Tarot Reader. Some have known me as creative director, fashion designer, curator of art events, as co-publisher of an art magazine, as poet or painter. Each role, title and experience provided me with diverse creative outlets and real-life experience of our manifest, artistic, creative and material world.

I know what it feels like to burn the candle at both ends, to be swept away with ideas, dreams, ambitions—realistic or otherwise—to feel overwhelmed with emotional attachments to the desired outcome, and to feel lost, exhausted, under-nourished and deeply ungrounded. I have experienced “contradiction of self” when my outer world was not aligned with my inner world. I have understood multitude of transitional modes, heard the callings hovering silently beneath the surface and have known the need for inner support and guidance—all while being an entrepreneur and creative in the external world of existence.

Through my journey into shamanism and mysticism, I was able to ignite my inner flame and become my most authentic presence, confront my fears, become a warrior of my own truth, soothe the memories of trauma, call back lost soul parts, open my heart to release its inherent courageous nature and deepen my connection to my physical temple in sacred reciprocity for this life I have been gifted. And with years of dedication and devotion to the lineage teachings bestowed upon me, I stepped into the presence of my soul’s calling—that which I AM.

my path of shamanism

In 2009 I met my Beloved, C von Hassett, and it was clear that we shared a devotion for spiritual evolution. He introduced me to the indigenous cultures of North America, primarily through his extensive library, and I was instantly inspired. Nothing, until that moment, had spoken so clearly to the unspoken relationship I had experienced with Mother Earth growing up as a child in the English Countryside; the animals, the plants, the birds, the trees, the fairies, the mud, the soils and the sense of spirit that I knew to be present in every living being within our natural world, seen and unseen.

I began reading and researching indigenous cosmology and felt a kinship with shamanic practices which resonated on a vibrational level of the soul. I was beginning to truly understand my essence nature by contemplating on Mother Earth, her seasonal cycles, the Space-Time of our Universe, ancient non-linear approaches to life-cycles, transcendental travel between Dreamtime and 3-D reality—all reflected in the seasonal cycles and multi-dimensional qualities within the Self.

I had yearned for spiritual guidance for most of my life. I didn’t have mentors, teachers and way-showers to turn to. Growing up I had experienced the spirit world through stumbling across spirits, ghosts and entities who called for my attention, often needing guidance and assistance in moving on. I lived in many apartments across Europe, often negotiating my living quarters with personalities who had no form. I fumbled my way through developing my communications skills across the Veil, while learning to trust my knowledge and experience beyond logic and reason.

THE andes & the AMAZON

In 2011, my Beloved and I spent five weeks traveling through Peru, experiencing the magic of the preserved indigenous ways of the shamans and healers of the Andes and the Amazon. Deep in the Jungle, we found a local shaman to guide us through an Ayahuasca Ceremony and we experienced a complete shift in our perspective of the universe at large, what some would call a spiritual awakening.

Upon our return to New York City, I sought out a Shamanic Guide and was blessed to meet Yachak Itzhak Beery, a dedicated Shaman and decades-long practitioner of the Shamanic Healing Arts rooted in the indigenous traditions of Ecuador. For many years I trained with Taita Itzhak in Shamanic drumming, Journeying and Soul Retrieval.

Now a dear friend and revered mentor, I travel to Ecuador with Taita Itzhak to train with Yachaks, Shamans and Healers from the Andes, the Tsáchila from the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest and the Siekopa’i from deep in the Amazon Jungle. I received Taita Itzhak’s extensive training in La Limpia Ceremony, the rigorous and ancient shamanic practice of energetic and spiritual cleansing, healing, purification and renewal practiced by the Yachak (Birdmen and Birdwomen) of the Ecuadorian Andes.

Wanting to revisit the Peruvian teachings of the Sacred Valley—when I made the shift away from my career at the onset of the pandemic—I deepened my training by becoming a student of Puma Fredy Quispe Singona, an indigenous Medicine Carrier of the Peruvian Andes who imparts his tradition's wisdom with cosmic clarity and a generous, loving heart. After his year-long intensive apprentice training, I was officially initiated as a Mesa (Medicine) Carrier into the Paqo tradition of the Seven Rays, also known as the Rainbow Lineage, of Chinchero, Peru. I am deeply grateful for having had the opportunity to receive his teachings passed down by his Grandfather and his Grandfather before. I work with my Medicine Bundle, calling upon my Spirit Allies, to facilitate light-energy healing of the physical, emotional and psychological bodies, restoring balance and harmony through ceremonial practices and rituals.

my PATH OF mysticism

A few years ago, my Spirit Animal made it clear that my journey had two parallel paths: Shamanism & Mysticism. It was time to re-engage with my Path of Magic. The path I wandered away from as a young woman—the path of magical power, skill, tools and communication to be honed and refined both in this reality and the realms across the Veil. I was shown that the source of the teachings that called me forth, arose from the dusty sands of Africa—from the Ancient Egyptian Cosmology imbedded in soils of our collective consciousness. I was clearly pointed in the direction of the Western Mystery Tradition and the Hermetic Sciences compiling of Astrology, Theurgy, Alchemy and Tarot.

I developed the practice of ritual magic aligned with the Mystical Qabalah and the Magical Arts under the guidance of my mentor, Naha Armády—a Master of the Path of the Magician and a Fearless Warrior of the Etheric Realms. Devoted to this parallel path, I steep my awareness in these ancient teachings and practice ritual magic to gain direct experiential recognition of their sacred and cosmic truths—all while anchoring it into my perception and my practice, so that I may authentically convey this guiding wisdom through Tarot.

my personal PRACTICES

At the end of 2019, just before the outbreak of the pandemic, I left my career, dedicated my time to esoteric studies and devoted my life to spiritual practice. My personal journey of inner transformation led me to become a student of Dzogchen, often referred to as the highest practice of Tibetan meditation—the direct path to realization of the nature of mind. I am initiated into the lineage of Tsoknyi Rinpoche, a true living master who offers his teachings of Dharma as blessings to the world.

I am also a regular practitioner of Intuitive Vinyasa Yoga guided by instinctual expressions of the Solar and Lunar channels within my Physical Temple and Subtle Bodies. I honor the training and direction I have received from Schuyler Grant, a modern-day yogic master, who instructed me in establishing unwavering foundations to my yoga practice.

I love my life in the Mojave Desert with my Beloved and my beloved two dogs.
